Delaying and making excuses will not get you anywhere and will only escalate the problem. If your diet plan suggests a certain timeframe for you to start losing weight, chances are, you are following the trend of fad diets.
When it comes to crunch, it is best to rely on our own feelings and instincts. If the scales tell you that you are losing weight, even if it is at a slower pace than you would like, but you are feeling energetic and positive about your weight-loss efforts, then you are just doing fine without a fad diet.
